BANCOMAT supports the exhibition Josef Albers: Meditations at Villa Panza

From 9 April 2026 to 10 January 2027, at Villa and Panza Collection, a selection of rare works by one of the masters of 20th‑century art.

BANCOMAT confirms its commitment to culture and artistic heritage by supporting Josef Albers: Meditations, the exhibition dedicated to one of the masters of twentieth-century art, running from 9 April 2026 to 10 January 2027 at Villa and Panza Collection in Varese, a property of the FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano ETS.

The exhibition presents a carefully curated selection of thirty works by Josef Albers from the Variant/Adobe and Homage to the Square series, on loan from major public and private collections in Europe and the United States, many of which are rarely displayed to the public. Curated by Nicholas Fox Weber and developed in collaboration with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation, the project features an essential and meditative exhibition design that engages in dialogue with the historic architecture of the villa, its spaces and the surrounding landscape.

Through its support of this initiative, BANCOMAT renews for the second consecutive year its partnership with the FAI, further strengthening its commitment to promoting internationally renowned cultural projects that foster art, knowledge and a mindful experience of places.

Josef Albers: Meditations is organised by the FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano ETS and the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation.
