BANCOMAT payment cards are designed to ensure accessibility for visually impaired users. Thanks to tactile designs compliant with international standards, tactile identifiers help users easily recognise the card and position it correctly on POS and ATM terminals. Touchscreen POS devices are equipped with dedicated features such as voice guidance for circuit selection and amount confirmation, along with audio support for PIN entry, improving the payment experience for people with visual impairments.
Contactless technology allows you to make purchases at enabled merchants simply by holding your card close to the POS terminal or PIN pad. The payment is completed in just a few moments without inserting the card into the terminal. For amounts up to €25, no PIN entry is required.
You can request a contactless BANCOMAT card from your bank where you hold your current account.
Contactless transactions use the same security standards applied to traditional chip card payments. For amounts over €25, cardholder authentication is ensured by entering the PIN.
