BANCOMAT Pay partner of Ducati Corse for the 2022 MotoGP World Championship

BANCOMAT S.p.A., the company that manages the most popular and well-known pick-up and payment circuits in Italy — BANCOMAT, PagoBancomat and BANCOMAT Pay — renews its partnership with Ducati Corse, which began in 2019, and is taking to the track as an official partner of the Ducati Lenovo Team in the 2022 MotoGP World Championship, which will open the new season on March 6 at the Losail circuit in Qatar.

On 31 January 2022, the Ducati Lenovo Team officially presented its new sports season, the twentieth for the Borgo Panigale team in the MotoGP World Championship since its debut in 2003, with an exciting video, shared on the main Ducati and Ducati Corse social platforms, and broadcast simultaneously on the official Ducati and MotoGP web pages and YouTube channels.

The video also traces the highlights of last year, such as the victories of team and constructors' titles and the successes achieved by Francesco Bagnaia (runner-up in the 2021 MotoGP world champion with 9 podiums and 4 wins) and Jack Miller (fourth in the Championship last year with 5 podiums including 2 wins). Both drivers will continue to wear the official Ducati team colors in 2022, for the second consecutive season.

The big news of the 2022 Desmosedici GP livery is represented by its color: for the first time, the Desmosedici GP wears the color “Ducati Red” in MotoGP, in the original shade that has always characterized the series motorcycles produced by the Borgo Panigale company.

After Sepang, the Ducati Lenovo Team riders will be back on track from 11 to 13 February for three days of testing at the brand new Mandalika Street Circuit in Lombok (Indonesia), while the first race of the 2022 Championship, which includes twenty-one GP, will be held from 4 to 6 March, as usual at night, on the Losail International Circuit in Doha (Qatar).
