BANCOMAT App Cookie Policy

INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA VIA COOKIES FOR USERS OF THE BANCOMAT APP PURSUANT TO REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 – "COOKIE POLICY"

Cookies are generally strings of text that the APPs (so-called "first-party" publishers) used by the user, or other partners, sites, or web servers (so-called "third parties"), place and store on a terminal device available to the user. The same result can also be achieved using other tools (so-called "active" and "passive" identifiers), which allow for processing similar to that indicated above.

BANCOMAT S.p.A. hereby informs you that the types of cookies indicated in the table below are present in its proprietary APP.

The only cookies that can be stored automatically on users' devices are technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the APP itself.

For all other types of cookies, including third-party ones, the user must provide consent for the installation of such tools if they agree.

To this end, upon first opening the APP or, for registered users, upon the first access following an update to the version that enables the use of cookies, a specific information banner is displayed. This banner informs the user about the use of cookies, including for marketing and profiling purposes, and allows them to express their preferences freely and consciously.  

The banner offers the user the option to accept the use of cookies ("Accept all" button), reject it and close the banner ("Reject and close" button), or customize their choices ("More information" button). Clicking on "More information" will open a screen listing the processing purposes, each with a toggle that allows you to express your choice. Clicking on the "+" button next to each purpose will provide more information about it. A dedicated section summarizes the partners who own the cookies used: clicking on the name of each partner will provide more information about the data collected and the methods and purposes of use. The user can then choose individually for which purposes and for which partners to provide consent. If you decide to reject the use of cookies for marketing and/or profiling purposes, you will still be able to continue using the APP's features without these cookies being downloaded to your device. In this case, only the technical cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the APP will remain active. If, on the other hand, you decide to consent to the use of one or more types of non-essential cookies, navigation will continue and these tools will be downloaded to your device.  

In all cases, the APP will store a cookie on the user's device to keep track of the preferences expressed. In subsequent sessions of using the APP, the banner will no longer be displayed, unless changes occur to one or more of the conditions based on which the user's choice was collected, or if it is impossible to know whether a cookie has already been stored on the device.  

Users will, in any case, always have the option to change their choices through a specific "Cookies" section in the APP settings.

Necessary

Necessary or "technical" cookies are essential tools that help make the APP usable, ensure its stability, and monitor any crashes. The APP cannot function properly without these cookies.

Marketing

Marketing cookies are used to track APP users. The purpose is marketing and profiling to allow for the measurement of individual user preferences, the improvement of products, and the personalization of advertisements.
