The partnership between Viva.com and BANCOMAT allows complete control of the payment value chain, as well as better cost efficiency.

Milan, 11 April 2024 — Viva.com, the first technological bank in Europe that supports the acceptance of payments on any device in 24 markets, and BANCOMAT, the leading payment circuit in Italy, announced today their strategic partnership. Demonstrating the localized approach, Viva.com will now allow its network of Italian merchants to accept PagoBancomat^® which will be followed shortly by BANCOMAT Pay^®, the most popular payment methods for millions of Italian users.
Future plans also include the strategic expansion of this partnership also in Europe, to offer merchants from all over the continent the opportunity to accept transactions from PagoBancomat customers^® and BANCOMAT Pay^®, thanks to the integration of their preferred local payment methods. This initiative will allow merchants to be at the forefront of global trade, ensuring increasingly fast and secure transactions.
With 31.6 million cards in circulation and 2.3 billion payments worth 114 billion euros, BANCOMAT has been the absolute leader in the Italian debit card payments market for 40 years. Starting today, its two PagoBancomat payment circuits^® and BANCOMAT Pay^® will be available on the Viva.com omnichannel payment platform.
