Milan, April 3, 2024 — BANCOMAT and Nexi announce that they have signed a multi-year contract for the construction of a new centralized technological infrastructure that will allow BANCOMAT to optimally and independently manage the offer of innovative payment services with high added value.
The new infrastructure will allow banks and payment market operators to significantly reduce the development time of new products and services and to expand their offer, in addition to guaranteeing advantages in terms of simplification of processes, control and better governance, with the same degree of cost-effectiveness.
The agreement will also create a single ATM Application Center through which physical and virtual POS and ATMs of the purchasers will be able to communicate with the issuers' authorization systems, assuring BANCOMAT both direct control over the value chain and control over innovation and regulatory adjustments.
The partnership between BANCOMAT and Nexi foresees further developments in the future, which, through the centralized infrastructure, will provide customers with an innovative offer commensurate with international best practices in the sector and a wide-ranging portfolio of services, including in the e-commerce sector, capable of responding to the needs of both the mass market and smaller market segments.
