BANCOMAT acquires control of FlowPay, a fintech specialized in open banking and digital payment solutions

Rome, 26 February 2025 - Transaction consistent with BANCOMAT's new Business Plan and aimed at strengthening innovative payment instruments.
BANCOMAT S.p.A., leader in payment services in Italy, announces that it has signed a binding contract for the acquisition of a controlling interest in FlowPay, a fintech specialized in open banking and digital payment solutions.

This transaction represents the first acquisition for BANCOMAT and is part of the new Business Plan, which includes, among other things, the objective of strengthening the company's presence in open banking and expanding its portfolio of innovative digital payment technologies and tools.

The closing of the acquisition, subject to customary regulatory approvals, is expected to be completed around mid-2025.
BANCOMAT and FlowPay will collaborate to integrate their respective technologies and create new value-added services that can be offered to consumers and merchants, responding to the needs of a rapidly evolving market.
