Banca Sella launches partnership with Discover® Global Network in digital payments

For the first time in Italy, Discover cardholders^®, Diners Club International^® and affiliated networks, will be able to make purchases in stores that use Banca Sella's POS.

Allow merchants in our country to also accept payments made with Discover cards^®, Diners Club International^® and affiliated networks. Banca Sella has in fact started a partnership that, thanks to the integration of Discover into its POS^® Global Network, makes it possible to further expand the acceptance of digital payment instruments in physical stores.

This partnership is part of the recent strategic agreement between Discover^® Global Network and ATM that allows you to use Discover cards^® Global Network and mobile payment tools on the ATM network throughout Italy.
Thanks to this initiative, Banca Sella further expands the payment acceptance services available to merchants in the field of digital solutions, also extending them to international travelers who are constantly increasing in Italy, a tourist and business destination in second place in Europe in terms of number of visitors. According to Euromonitor data, tourism from abroad to our country is expected to grow by 49% by 2025. The new functionality is automatically made available on all Banca Sella POS terminals in the country and allows travelers to use their cards to pay in stores in a simple, fast and secure way.
